Not every yantra is the same. A yantra is a vessel. What fills it is the consecration. Most yantras sold today are only metal, beautiful, but unawakened. In our tradition, a yantra becomes sacred when it is energised: worshipped, invoked, and charged with mantra by one who carries the lineage.
